Hotel Indigo Milan – Corso Monforte is a boutique hotel, with only 51 rooms. The Hotel Indigo chain is part of IHG Hotels. We stayed here when we visited Milan, Italy this summer. This property has the best location! It’s tucked away on a quieter street in the historical center but is within walking distance of the Duomo of Milan, Milan’s cathedral, other famous sites, and fantastic shopping.

Facilities

The hotel’s design is elegant and fitting for the city of Milan. This hotel is housed in an early 19th-century building, which surrounds a gorgeous courtyard. Hotel Indigo Milan is a welcome respite after a full day of sightseeing and shopping.

Restaurants and Bars

  • Breakfast Buffet – The breakfast buffet was enjoyed in the courtyard. And it was quite the spread!
  • Bar & Cocktail Lounge – We had a few great drinks and delicious bar snacks in the cocktail lounge.
  • Mezzo Restaurant – We didn’t dine at the restaurant onsite, but it is open for lunch and dinner.

Fitness Center

There is a 24-hour fitness center that I did not see at all on this trip. I was too busy experiencing Milan!

Our Room

Our room was so charming! It was modern in design and slightly quirky with an old-school feel. There was a colorful rotary phone on the bedside table and cloche hat lampshades for the hanging lamps. Cute!! And the room overlooks the beautiful courtyard. Check out this quick room tour!

Staff and Service

The staff at Hotel Indigo Milan are so welcoming. We don’t know Italian, but the staff all spoke English well and helped us navigate the city. There was always a welcoming smile when we passed through the lobby.

The Bottom Line

I absolutely loved this property and would stay again. You really can’t beat the location and it’s such a beautiful hotel. I often think of sitting in the courtyard and enjoying a warm cup of tea with breakfast.

Safe and Happy Travels!
