I’m Tamara! I’m a travel advisor and world traveler. I love everything related to travel. Welcome to my travel site!!
I became a travel advisor because I always planned my own travel, and helped out a lot of friends and family members with theirs.
I want to ensure people experience their dream vacations without all the hassle of planning them on their own. Many of my clients either don’t know where to start with travel planning because they may not have traveled often. Others are just too busy to take the time to do it. How My Love For Travel Started
Growing up in New Jersey, most of our family travel was done in a minivan. We have trips up and down the East Coast, between Toronto, Canada, and Orlando, Florida. But because my father is from Trinidad & Tobago, we would travel there when I was younger, too. That’s when we got to fly on airplanes!
After college, my consumer promotions field work provided me with the opportunity to travel throughout the US. I’ve visited most of the United States, except for four: Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Alaska. I’ll get there! The international travel bug bit me back in 2004. I was living in the East Bay, outside of San Francisco, and a friend was getting married in Lima, Peru. Of course, I had to go! It’s an amazing country to visit. And Machu Picchu is an unbelievable site to see!
It’s Been A Fun Journey
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to travel to many countries throughout the world. France, Ghana, Colombia, Italy, Mexico, and Australia are some of my favorites. I feel blessed to have seen 5 continents, 34 countries, and countless cities. There are many more places on my bucket list, too!
I rarely travel alone because I love sharing these experiences with people I care about. My boyfriend, Terry, is with me on most of my trips, but I also take off with my girlfriends and family when I can.
In 2022, I purchased my first vacation rental property near the beach in Ocean City, Maryland. It’s a very exciting new venture. You can learn more about it here.
Whether I’m planning my own travel, working with clients, creating content for my social media channels and website, or managing my rental property to ensure my guests have an amazing time, my days are filled with doing what I love!
